{"id":6590,"date":"2023-07-02T06:14:29","date_gmt":"2023-07-02T04:14:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vetrinalive.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=6590"},"modified":"2023-07-02T06:14:29","modified_gmt":"2023-07-02T04:14:29","slug":"coupon-codes","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/vetrinalive.com\/es\/news\/coupon-codes\/","title":{"rendered":"C\u00f3digos de descuento"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the last platform update, we released a new sales tool for your e-commerce: <strong>Coupon Codes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With coupon codes you can offer customized discounts to your customers during recurring events such as Saint Valentine, Christmas or Black Friday or just to thank them for your loyalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create your first coupon code, in menu go to <strong>Discount codes<\/strong> and click on <strong>Add a discount code<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the dialog that appears, you can customize your coupon and define the logic behind it. An example could be BLACKFRIDAY21 or BF21 for the Black Friday. The system is not case sensitive, so it&#8217;s just a manner of how do you want to communicate it.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Description:<\/strong> this field is not visible by users but can be useful for you to keep track of code motivation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Condition<\/strong>: the condition define when adding the coupon fires the discount and when it doesn&#8217;t. At the moment you can choose between &#8220;Apply to orders over&#8221; and &#8220;Apply to all orders&#8221;. In the first case, the discount will be applied only if cart amount is higher than the amount chosen, while, in the second case, the discount will be applied to orders of every amount.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Discount Value:<\/strong> you can choose if the discount have to be a fixed amount (i.e. -20$) or a percentage (i.e. 20%)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Start and End date:<\/strong> a coupon code can be enabled and disabled or you can set a start and end date for specific occasions.
